End Family Violence
The facts are that we have a family violence and violence against women problem in NZ.
There is a domestic violence related call to the Police every 4 minutes.
Family violence reported cases have increased by 60% in the last 5 years and a further 60% in the affected areas since Cyclone Gabrielle in February this year. A further 60% (at least) are not reported.
Shine are an amazing nationwide helpline that support those affected by family violence. I am running a GiveALittle campaign until the end of April to raise money for the brilliant work that Shine offers.
